Lostwithiel
Lostwithiel is a historic town, located at the tidal reach of the river Fowey, and approximately five miles from Fowey.  Originally a port, and the capital of Cornwall, it is now a bustling town famous for many antique shops and has a mixture of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels.

The Fowey river meanders through the town, and there is a 12th Century castle and Golf and Country Club.  Lostwithiel has a mainline train station with direct access to London, and the A39, providing easy car access in and out of Cornwall.
