Lostwithiel Lostwithiel is a historic town, located at the tidal reach of the river Fowey, and approximately five miles from Fowey. Originally a port, and the capital of Cornwall, it is now a bustling town famous for many antique shops and has a mixture of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels.
The Fowey river meanders through the town, and there is a 12th Century castle and Golf and Country Club. Lostwithiel has a mainline train station with direct access to London, and the A39, providing easy car access in and out of Cornwall. Who would believe it? 2012 has certainly started with a bang and long may it contiue. In the first seven working days of January we agreed sales on seven houses in Fowey and Golant.
So far, viewings are significantly up on last year and we are taking instructions to sell many new properties. Happy New Year.
