Polruan

Polruan is a traditional waterside village situated on the east bank of the River Fowey. The Fowey estuary is well known for its safe anchorage and excellent sailing facilities. Fowey itself can be reached by car via the ferry at nearby Bodinnick, or by regular passenger ferry running from the Quay in Polruan.

The area is surrounded by National Trust owned land and there are many scenic coastal walks to enjoy. Polruan has a number of shops, post office and pubs that are open all year around.
