Polruan Polruan is a traditional waterside village situated on the east bank of the River Fowey. The Fowey estuary is well known for its safe anchorage and excellent sailing facilities. Fowey itself can be reached by car via the ferry at nearby Bodinnick, or by regular passenger ferry running from the Quay in Polruan. The area is surrounded by National Trust owned land and there are many scenic coastal walks to enjoy. Polruan has a number of shops, post office and pubs that are open all year around. Who would believe it? 2012 has certainly started with a bang and long may it contiue. In the first seven working days of January we agreed sales on seven houses in Fowey and Golant.
So far, viewings are significantly up on last year and we are taking instructions to sell many new properties. Happy New Year.
